Senior Class Gift

Participation Matters

Be part of the senior class gift campaign, a longstanding Dominican tradition in which you, as a graduating senior, make a gift to your soon-to-be alma mater.  The class gift is presented at the Candle & Rose Ceremony. Your participation says that you are grateful for the education you received and proud to be a Dominican alumna/us.

  • We suggest a gift of $20.13, but it is your participation that matters most.
  • Make your gift in honor a favorite professor, sister, coach, or staff member.  You will be given a special card to write a note to that person to personally thank them for the difference they made in your Dominican education.
  • Stop by Power 116 or 114 to make your gift in person, or make your gift online.

Benefits of Giving

  • Your name will be printed in the Candle & Rose program (if your gift arrives before the print deadline), online at dom.edu/seniors and on an honor roll at the Candle & Rose reception.
  • You will be entered into a drawing to win one of the following three packages if your gift is received by April 26:

1. Ten reserved seating graduation tickets with additional parking pass.
This replaces your allotted six tickets and adds one additional parking pass.

2. Four additional graduation tickets with additional parking pass.
This is in addition to your allotted six tickets and parking pass.

3. Two additional tickets with additional parking pass.
This is in addition to your allotted six tickets and parking pass.

Continuing your Commitment

We hope that your senior class gift is just the beginning of your philanthropy for Dominican. As Dominican continues to grow in size, scope and recognition, the value of your degree increases. What’s more, a high percentage of alumnae/i giving helps Dominican’s U.S. News and World Report rankings, again, increasing the value of your Dominican degree. So when you get a letter, e-mail or phone call asking for your support, please say yes!

Congratulations, Class of 2013!  Thank you for supporting Dominican.
